The SBH exhibition gallery was constructed in 1972, encompassing an area of 1,200 square meters. It stands tall at 24 meters, with the basement accounting for 4 meters and the above-ground portion stretching up to 20 meters, equivalent to five floors. The total exhibition area spans approximately 3,970 square meters, a pioneering design employing cutting-edge technology for its era. The architectural design is credited to Ivanko Kavalov, with engineering contributions by Ivan Nikolov.

This iconic structure housing the SBH showrooms has ingrained itself deeply into Sofia’s cultural fabric. Known affectionately as “Shipka 6,” it has evolved into a pivotal hub within the city’s artistic and spiritual realms. Renowned for its vibrant artistic life, the space embodies the fusion of Bulgaria’s largest exhibition center and the nurturing grounds for Bulgarian artists, fostering a legacy of profound artistic and professional accomplishments.
