The Orthodox Church of “Nativity” in the village of “Mladost” 3 was inaugurated on October 18, 2015, by Patriarch Neofit, with the presence of the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Boyko Borisov, and the Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova. The foundation stone for the construction was laid on June 5, 2011. Situated on the grounds of the former prison aspect in the city, the church is a distinctive composition crafted from concrete and adorned with stone. Funding for the temple’s construction included BGN 80,000 from the Metropolitan Municipality, with the remaining funds sourced from donations from construction companies and the personal labor of “Mladost” residents.
