The chapel “St. Bartholomew the Apostle” stands in the Gorublyane district of the capital, precisely on Samokovsko Shosse Street. Its construction dates back to 2006, and it was consecrated by the current Metropolitan Nicholas of Plovdiv, who at the time served as the Vicar of the Sofia Metropolitan. This sacred place was built on the grounds of an ancient burial site dedicated to the revered saint.
