Crafted by the renowned Bulgarian sculptor Mina Ivanov, sibling to one of the capital’s accomplished mayors, Ivan Ivanov, the sculpture portrays St. Great Martyr George clad in military armor. In a powerful stance, he raises his right hand to confront the mythical dragon, spear in hand, capturing the essence of the saint’s legendary triumph.
