The “Sfumato” Theater Workshop, founded in 1989, stands out for its innovative approach, focusing on thematic programs rather than a traditional repertoire. Located at 2 “Dimitar Grekov” street since May 2004, the theater workshop resides in the restored building of the former “Poduene” bath in “Oborishte” park. Its performances often feature a core group of actors, though the theater doesn’t maintain a permanent troupe. To make attending performances more accessible, tickets for the “Sfumato” theater program have been available at the box office of the “Ivan Vazov” National Theater since February 2015.
