The People’s Community Center “Sredets-1926” is located on “Tsar Boris III” Boulevard No. 17 in the capital. Established in 1926, it is one of the oldest community centers in Sofia. The center boasts a library, an auditorium with a stage, a smaller room for rehearsals and chamber events, as well as classrooms fully utilized for various activities. The school of arts affiliated with the community center offers training in piano, guitar, painting, ballet, Latin American and Bulgarian folk dances. In addition to its local activities, the center’s artistic ensembles have achieved recognition both in Bulgaria and abroad. The language school associated with the community center has also demonstrated notable achievements.
