The “Rhodope Crystal” crystal hall, created in 1984, is one of the biggest sights of Madan. In it, you can see nearly 600 exhibits of mineral and crystal specimens extracted from the mines in the region. The exhibits
impress with their unique shapes and reflections. An extraordinary wealth that made an American senator who passed through these lands to say: What is mining for you. If I have this, I will only sell the crystals. The largest crystal measures 60 by 60 cm.
The Crystal Hall is a member of the International Association of Mineralogical Museums.
