Dimitar Gichev was a Bulgarian politician associated with the Bulgarian People’s Agricultural Union. He held key ministerial positions, serving as the Minister of Agriculture and State Properties from 1931 to 1932 and later as the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Labor from 1932 to 1934. Notably, Gichev had also served as a soldier during the First World War, contributing to the war effort.

In 1947, Gichev faced a life imprisonment sentence. However, he was released from prison in 1960, marking a significant point in his life. Despite the challenges he encountered, he continued to live until 1964, when he passed away.
