The Evangelical Pentecostal Church is situated at 21 Bacho Kiro Street, in the central part of Sofia. The roots of the Pentecostal movement in Bulgaria trace back to 1920 when missionaries Dionysius Zaplishniy and Ivan Voronaev initiated its establishment. This effort led to the formation of the Union of Evangelical Pentecostal Churches in Bulgaria in 1928. Presently, there are approximately 500 local churches affiliated with the Evangelical Pentecostal movement across the country.
