The “St. Archangel Michael” temple is situated in the Simeonovo district of the capital. It was constructed on the foundations of a substantial medieval Orthodox monastery that shared the same name. The temple was consecrated in 1918, serving as a continuation of the spiritual heritage associated with the earlier monastery.
