The Saint Stephen Fountain graces Banski Square adjacent to the Banya Bashi Mosque in Sofia. Named after the first Christian martyr, Apostle Stephen, this fountain was inaugurated in 1999 under the leadership of the then mayor of Sofia, Stefan Sofianski.
