Crafted by the talented sculptor Georgi Bakardjiev, this fountain underwent a meticulous restoration in 2004, breathing new life into its artistic presence.

Recently, the Banski Square fountain underwent renovation, funded by the Capital Municipality’s budget. The restoration efforts encompassed crucial upgrades, including new waterproofing and electrical installations, revitalizing this landmark and ensuring its continued allure for both locals and visitors alike.
