The Ethnographic Museum in the town of Berkovitsa presents the lifestyle and customs of the local population. The museum’s vaults, created in the 60s of the 20th century, store thousands of objects of artistic crafts and folk customs, the fantastic richness of color and art of fabrics, clothes, ornaments, household items and some customs and traditions from the past. During the Turkish slavery, Berkovitsa was a developed craft village, mainly in the production of pottery.
