In the years 1952-1954, a “Monument to the Soviet Soldier – Ossuary for Those Who Died in the Patriotic War” was erected in Sofia. The monument is located in the garden that intersects Cherni Vrah Blvd. The architectural design is credited to Vasil Beyazov, while the sculpture work was created by Prof. Lyuben Dimitrov.
