Izgrev, situated in Sofia, is a distinctive neighborhood with borders encompassing the Dianabad district, the Iztok district, and the scenic Boris Garden, while being separated from the East by Dragan Tsankov Boulevard.
Earning the moniker “nomenclature neighborhood,” Izgrev gained prominence in the late 1970s when residential blocks were erected to house artists, writers, and personalities from radio and television. During this period, it became an integral part of the “Chervena Zvezda” municipality.
