Ariana is a man-made lake situated in the lower section of Borisova Garden in Sofia. Positioned near the convergence of Tsarigradsko shose and “Hristo i Evlogi Georgievi” boulevard, close to Orlov Bridge and adjacent to the “Vasil Levski” National Stadium, this artificial body of water spans 175 meters in length and 75 meters in width. Its construction dates back to the late 19th century.
During the winter season, an annual ice rink is typically set up at this location.
