The mineral fountain, situated next to the mineral bath building in the “Gorna Banya” district of the capital, is associated with a spring that has been known since the time of the Thracians. The water from this spring is recognized as one of the waters in Bulgaria with minimal dissolved mineral substances, maintaining a stable physico-chemical composition and properties. It is characterized by its clarity, colorlessness, lack of odor, and a pleasant taste, which remains unaffected by the changes of the four seasons throughout the year.
