Cinema “Vlaikova” is the oldest and operating cinema in the capital. The building was donated by Maria Vlaikova and managed by the NGO “Anton Strashimirov-1926”. Today, films, concerts, lectures, literary readings and meetings are held in the “Vlaikova” cinema hall. In the windows of the community center – cinema “Vlaikova” you can see exhibitions dedicated to historical dates.
Community center “Anton Srashimirov – 1926” has a retro hall equipped with equipment for a variety of cultural activities. Its activities are developed through a library, dance and choir ensembles, guitar, piano and drum lessons. It has dance schools as well as two theater schools.
Maintains the oldest movie theater in Sofia – “Vlaikova”, which has preserved its retro appearance, continuing to screen films on tape. In the hall of the “Vlaikova” Cinema you can still hear the sound of the projection apparatus. The salon is rented out for cultural events.
