The Villa-Museum Alexander Stamboliyskii is located 3 km east of the village of Slavovitsa, the birthplace of the great son of Bulgaria, ideologist and leader of the BZNS, Prime Minister from 1919 to 1923.
It was built by Al. Stamboliyski in 1922 on his own property on two floors and has an old house, an outbuilding, a shed and a stable attached to it. In the Stamboliyski villa, he was subjected to cruel torture by the coup plotters on June 9, 1923, and was thrown half-dead into one of the rooms of the farm building.
In the last hours of his life, with his own blood, Stambliyski wrote on the wall the year 1923. The villa and the bloody signature are historical cultural monuments of national importance
