The monumental domed tomb near the village of Mezek was built as early as the 6th century BC. The construction is of so-called “dry masonry”, without mortar. Its total length is almost 30 meters. Scientists have established that it was used repeatedly /no less than 4 times/ and that noble representatives of the Thracian were buried in it aristocracy. This is evidenced by the gold ornaments, earrings, necklaces and appliqués, iron, glass and clay objects found. It was discovered by chance by a shepherd who was grazing his flock on the hill under which the facility was hidden. When he leaned on his geg, it suddenly collapsed down They dug up the place and came upon her entrance.
