One of the most important places within the boundaries of “Sboryanovo” is Demir Baba Teke. It is sacred to the Alians, also called “Kazalbashi”.
They believe that the temple, built in the 16th century, was erected in honor of their spiritual leader Demir Baba /Iron Father/. Christians also venerate Demir Baba as their saint, even until 1927 year the dome had both a Christian cross and a Muslim crescent
