The recently developed recreation area “Vazrazhdane” is situated in the “Zona B5” district along the “Oplchenska” boulevard, adjacent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs Hospital in the capital. Construction officially commenced in September 2015, and the park spans an extensive area of 52 decares. Notably, 24 of these decares are part of the “Sport Sofia” complex, operational since August 2015.
The “Vazrazhdane” Park boasts a range of amenities, including over 100 benches, walkways adorned with colorful mosaics, three fountains, an amphitheater, a circus area, and an additional fountain. A dedicated children’s playground, equipped with various play structures, is a notable feature, catering to different age groups – one section for children up to 3 years old and another for those between 3 and 12 years old.
