Zaimov Park, named after General Vladimir Zaimov, is situated between “Yanko Sakizov” boulevard, “Krakra” boulevard, and “Alexander Dondukov” boulevard in Sofia. The park is home to various amenities, including the Sofia drama theater, the theater workshop “Sfumato,” the regional health care center, restaurants, sports facilities, a children’s corner, and fitness equipment. A recent addition to the park is the “Fairytale House,” introduced in late summer 2013. This attraction features a moving platform-hall, fairy-tale decors, and dolls that bring to life beloved characters from classic children’s tales such as “Hansel and Gretel,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Snow White,” “Thumbelina,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Wolf and the Seven Kids,” “The Snow Queen,” “The Brave Lead Soldier,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Pinocchio,” “Winnie the Pooh,” “Puss in Boots,” and many more. It provides an enchanting experience for visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in the magical world of fairy tales.
