The monument honoring those who perished in the Patriotic War stands within the confines of the “Zaimov” park in the capital city. This memorial was erected as a poignant tribute to the individuals who lost their lives during the Second World War, known in Bulgaria as the Patriotic War. The memorial bears the names of these fallen warriors inscribed on two marble tablets, commemorating their sacrifice and valor in service to their country during this significant historical period.
